Lyra Miller is an artist primarily working in photography. She is currently stuck in Portland, in Maine, in New England, and in the united states. Her work explores interpersonal relationships, place, construction and continuity of self, isolation, and sunsets. Sometimes she makes books. Lyra is presently a student at Maine College of Art & Design, and her work has been shown in the 2024 and 2025 MECA&D BFA Exhibitions and will be shown in the 2026 MECA&D Senior Thesis Show. She wants you to see something in the light that wasn’t there before. Lyra should have been born as something that can fly.
